Inspired by Scottish fabric, Tartan is a geometric shawl brought to life through slipped stitches, naturally creating a jacquard-like pattern that lends itself to endless color combinations. The design features interlacing horizontal and vertical lines where the shades interact and enhance each other beautifully.
I had the privilege of test-knitting Béatrice’s pattern before its release, and the instructions are flawless. The pattern is clear and peppered with helpful tips that make the knitting process smooth. It’s such a pleasant knit that I’ve already started a second version (Set 2)!
To create the Tartan shawl, Béatrice used yarn equivalent to ISAURE sock. The set is therefore offered using this base, with enough yarn to knit the large version of the shawl and the smaller version twice. The color order was carefully chosen to create a harmonious result, but feel free to switch it up! Let your creativity shine by mixing the colors however you like for a unique result!
The bundle includes :
