Lisa Hannes is a renowned knitwear designer of German origin. We all have in mind at least one of his many mosaïc or cable shawl patterns with a perfect description and such refined details! I had the privilege of testing Winter Serenade or Afternoon in Lisbon among others, and it was with great pleasure that I discovered the first designs created by Lisa with my hand-dyed yarns Woolissime Yarns, Ruffle Snuggle Shawl and the adorable Autumn Comes.
A very new wrap designed by Lisa with the duo Inés and Suri has just been released. Coral Reef Wrap, knitted in the color Celadon. This is a great opportunity to offer yarn sets.
A few words about Coral Reef Wrap…
This wrap features a combination of ribbing and travelling lines that look wonderful on both sides. Coral Reef Wrap is simple to achieve, the effect of the coral branches being only the result of increases and decreases. With an elongated and enveloping shape, Coral Reef Wrap is a relaxing pattern offered in English and German. There is no doubt that you will quickly adopt this beautiful stole which will accompany you on all your autumn walks.
A few words about the Inés / Suri duo
INES is a modern and soft yarn with a subtly rustic look combining merino and linen. SURI is a precious lace yarn made from baby suri alpaca and mulberry silk. Extremely soft and airy, Suri brings lightness and volume to Inés for an incredibly comfortable texture.
The Inés et Suri yarn set proposed for the original size (269 cm / 106” x 68.5 cm / 27”) contains:
- 3 INÈS skeins (90% merino/10% linen (366m-100grs) – 1098m (1200 yds) in total.
- 4 SURI skeins: 74% Suri Baby Alpaca – 26% Mulberry Silk (300m – 50 grs) – 1200m (1312 yds) in total.
- Available in 10 colors: Céladon (original color), Poudre, Caffe Latte, Smoke, Afternoon Tea, Cèdre Bleu, Smoke, Terre d’Ombre, Taïga, Vison.
