Aster is a large crescent shaped shawl that is worked from the top down starting with a classic garter tab. The body of the shawl is worked in a Slip Stitch Lace pattern interlaced with simple but effective garter stitch stripes. The border is worked in a beautiful pattern reminiscent of Aster flowers, using one color. All these details combine to create a pattern that is as addictive as it is pleasant to knit ! To create her original sample, Natasja chose INÉS merino linen yarn in three semi-solid shades, Caffe Latte, Clay and Garance.
